We are actively seeking a Trade Support Analyst for a unique opportunity to join a growing team working with the company's flagship product, a highly customizable execution management system used by some of the largest investment banks and hedge funds in the world. The role represents an excellent opportunity to gain experience in dealing with high-profile clients, cutting-edge technology and the financial services industry. As FX Support Analyst you will be the main point of contact for clients using the company's trading systems. You will both support the company's suite of software and interact with clients to understand their needs, design solutions and implement them, alongside the company's development team.


Responsibilities include both client facing and technical aspects to provide a high quality technical relationship between clients and the client services team:

Relationship Management:

-Liaise with clients directly to define and understand business and workflow requirements.

-Manage client expectations.

-Act as primary technical contact to allocated clients for new requirements, support and project deliverables.

Implementation & Design:

-Formulate the business and workflow requirements into technical solutions.

-Use technical design and development skills to resolve complex problems across many different platforms.

-Work alongside developers throughout the firm to design, build, test, and deploy custom solutions.

-Implement and test new FX liquidity providers onto the company liquidity aggregation engine.

-Work with teams across the firm to continually improve the product, and drive future innovation.

-Performing daily system health checks.

-Responding to reports of problems via Phone and E-mail.

-Troubleshooting and investigation in order to create appropriate solutions to immediate problems.

-Public holiday/weekend/7pm shift work on a rotational basis.


-Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a numerate subject (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics).

-Basic technical knowledge and a desire to improve in areas such as C++, Java, SQL, Python, Shell Scripting, Linux, Windows.

-Ability to communicate confidently and concisely to both business and technical clients and colleagues.

-Excellent problem solving skills and ability to communicate solutions.

-Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm.

-Desire to learn both the business and technical aspects of the financial capital markets in which the company operates.

May Be Advantageous:

-Previous experience as a support analyst or in a client-facing role.
