Summary of Job Duties

Summary of Job Duties
(Note: This summary will be used for keyword search) Designs, develops, facilitates, administers, and evaluates technical training initiatives for Enterprise Technology Services. Evaluates training needs and determines the best approach for training delivery (i.e. eLearning, Instructor-led learning, on-the-job learning, etc).

Works extensively with campus subject matter experts (SMEs), vendors, and project team members to deliver appropriate training. Determines training needs and develops and implements training programs, using effective technology and learning approaches. Applies change management theory into training, when appropriate. Designs and delivers new training courses resulting from existing and new campus IT projects, products and business processes.

Develops, coordinates and when appropriate, delivers training to the campus for ETS applications, i.e. Service Now, Kronos Timekeeping, and other ETS systems.

Provides consultation and training needs assessments to ETS senior management, ETS departments, and the Director of Application and Technology Services for all ETS training initiatives and resulting change management needs.

Designs and develops User Guides and Quick Reference Guides for ETS systems such as Service Now and Connect support.

Minimum Requirements
Ten+ years of experience in the training and development profession. Thorough knowledge of adult training and development and an understanding of how work may impact other functional areas. Thorough knowledge of adult learning theory. Thorough analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations, demonstrating organization and problem-solving skills. Thorough knowledge and ability to develop and implement campus wide training initiatives. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and strong presentation skills. Thorough knowledge of Application and Technology Services systems and the delivery of training programs. Strong ability to understand new systems and incorporate role-based procedures into training content. Thorough knowledge of current training programs and trends. Strong ability to conduct needs assessments and develop new training programs to meet campus needs. Thorough knowledge and skills with relevant business software systems; i.e. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint. Thorough knowledge of the project life cycle and training initiatives related to new IT systems. Note

Desirable Requirements
Master's degree in Adult Training and Development preferred.
