Transaction Coordinator

Job Description Summary

The Transaction Coordinator is responsible for managing the office's escrow and due diligence process. They will work closely with the Execution Director acting as a liaison between the Sellers and Buyers for all transactions. Additionally, this multifaceted role will entail assisting the brokerage support team in multiple capacities inclusive of maintaining a sales comp database, micro/macro market research, and ad hoc sales aid production.

Job Description



RESPONSIBILITIES



* Save and accurately label all property offers and related documents

* Complete and update offer matrices for properties in the Call for Offer period

* Maintain a deal contact spreadsheet for each transaction

* Create an escrow timeline for each transaction

* Manage the flow of information between parties to assure the escrow timeline accuracy is maintained

* Schedule site visits for appraisers, lenders, etc. during the due diligence period

* Prepare transaction vouchers and commission invoices

* Demonstrate prompt responsiveness to any Buyer/Seller inquires or document requests

* Work closely with the Execution Director to provide updates on the status of each transaction in the escrow process

* Assist the brokerage support team with market/location research

* Maintain sales comp database

* Assist with ad hoc sales aid production



REQUIREMENTS



* Bachelor's degree

* Experience working in a role balancing the requirements and needs of both internal and external clients

* Experience in working with contracts and legal documentation

* Experience, knowledge and interest in the fundamentals of real estate preferred

* Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to multitask and track numerous transactions

* The ability to perceive problems and react quickly to effect solutions

* Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Strong analytical and research skills

* Ability to work independently, and in a fast paced, often changing environment
