Linguists and Project Managers excel at multi-tasking in our fast-paced environment. They value the variety of tasks that they get from this role, and they love the many different hats that they get to wear. Linguists / Project Managers are not only managing translation projects from start to finish, but they are also managing our client accounts and communicating with our clients on a regular basis. Projects involve translating documents from various file formats, as well as verbal conversations from Spanish to English. Linguists / Project Managers also play a role in proofing and editing.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor's Degree in Translation or a related field is required. Prior translationexperience and/or Master's degree is a plus.
We need linguists with native or near-native proficiency in Portuguese or Korean, who are also fluent in English. Superior written and verbal communication skills are required. The ability to anticipate the needs of others and communicate proactively is a must.
Linguists / Project Managers must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. SDL Studio (Trados) or othertranslation software experience is preferred but is not required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS
This role requires superior project management skills. The ability to multi-task and balance your time in a fast-paced environment while still providing the highest level of customer service is absolutely required. In addition, Project Managers / Linguists must be available to work extended hours during our peak period from August through November.
