Transmission Engineer

Transmission Engineers needed in Oklahoma to perform engineering analysis, calculations, design, for construction, maintenance and operation of high voltage transmission lines.ResponsibilitiesThe Transmission Engineer will create specifications, prepare and evaluate bids and reports, make recommendations for purchase of materials, equipment and services.Oversees testing process for transmission line design and coordinates the work of outside contractors and engineering firms on transmission line projects.Assists with the update of departmental construction and other departmental recordsRequirementsRequires BSEE with high voltage power emphasis, PLS-CADD and 5+ years strong background in electrical transmission engineering line design, systems analysis, computer programming, and project managementPE desired - must be able to get Oklahoma PE in 12 monthsMust be familiar with lockout tag-out.
