Job Description
Company: Childrens Mercy Hospitals & Clinics
Facility: Childrens Mercy Hospitals and Clinics at Kansas City
Department: Critical Care Transport Services
Job Responsibilities:
Utilize the nursing process and knowledge of scientific principles to provide comprehensive, age appropriate nursing care to the high risk or critically ill patient during transport
Assist with the shift supervision of nonprofessional personnel as necessary
Work as a team member and supports a teamwork philosophy
Job Requirements:
Associates degree or equivalent
3 years critical care experience
Includes at least one year pediatric and/or neonatal critical care
Current professional Nursing License in state(s) of practice (Missouri and Kansas)
BLS
PALS required within 6 months
NRP required within 1 year
TNATC required within 1 year
ACLS required within 1 year
Air Medical Safety required within 1 year
Passport required within 1 year Full-time (64-80 hrs/pp) Night shift
