Description of Duties:
The position is a four (4) month temporary assignment with the possibility to extend to six (6) months. The position is responsible for educating Emergency Medical Service providers in Palm Beach County on Trauma related subjects. Educate Emergency Room Directors/staff on inter-facility Trauma criteria and trauma related matters. Develop and present outreach programs for injury prevention in the community. Job will require travel to EMS stations, Hospitals, and community settings in Palm Beach County.
Job Requirements:
* Licenses: Florida Registered Nurse, BSN Preferred. Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic.
* Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and/or CEN (Instructor preferred).
* Must have strong background (minimum 5 years) in pre-hospital, Emergency Department and/or Trauma course or certification instruction.
* Computer Knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
