POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of the Supervisor of User Acceptance Testing position is responsible for the oversight and execution of user acceptance testing which consists of planning exercises, ensuring adequate testing to confirm the ability to perform job functions with introduced change, conducting usability testing and management of the business regression test process. Accountable to formally accept and create new operational solutions. This includes implementation planning, system and data conversion, acceptance testing, communication, release preparation, understanding of new or changed business processes and IT services, early production support and a post-implementation review. Implement solutions in line with the agreed upon expectations and outcomes. Scope will span across originations, servicing and enabling functions through coordination and/or actual testing occurring. Responsibility will include providing knowledge and expertise as a project/enhancement stakeholder. This position requires the ability to use sound judgment when escalating issues and sharing information both internally and externally. This role will interface with internal and external customers and is responsible for adherence to IT policies and procedures as well as performance expectations which contribute to process improvements. Position will report to a Director, IT Business Services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

FUNCTIONS
The Supervisor of IT Business Services User Acceptance Testing is accountable for the following areas of PHH s IT Operating Model:
* Deploy IT Solutions User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
o Organize and continually assesses priorities, utilizing awareness of testing disciplines, IT implications and business requirements. Uses this assessment to recognize and communicate schedule risks
o Participates in Business Requirement definition, providing representation and SME knowledge and systems implications for the functions they represent
o Review Functional Specification Designs, Data Models, Data Mappings and Architectural Documentation as needed to understand how IT development was handled
o Consistently adheres to PHH SDLC and Testing Standards and Practices
o Participates in Post-Production Validations, typically simulating the business process in production environment to ensure the changes being implemented are ready for business use. This is commonly performed on weekends
o Lead others in the preparation and execution of scripts, providing both testing and business expertise.
o Evaluate future release content and assess testing support required and organize efforts to ensure full business coverage exists
o Training business testers in all aspects of PHH SDLC and Testing Standards and Practices, ensuring training plan is continually updated
o Facilitates test activities assigned to business testers, ensuring their scripts are complete and accurate, ensuring issues they encounter are resolved in a timely fashion
o Develop test plans and defining test cases by understanding the change to include downstream and peripheral implications. These need to ensure coverage across all aspects of the business acceptance test
o For initiatives requiring an exceptional volume of testing, the incumbent is responsible for organizing the tests, determining the support required, seeking business support and managing that support to the release schedule
o Conduct research and analysis of issues to assist with testing and root cause analysis and contribute to the corrective action/fix
o Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
o Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
* Sustain & Maintain Customer Relationship Management
o Manage the interaction between the IT organization and the business units by enabling two-way communication, participating in business planning activities by providing technology advice and guidance, and translating business ideas into actionable requests.
