JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Participate in project intake sessions and
set up projects appropriately in Clarity

* Obtain project approvals

* Conduct project audits

* Manage demand/capacity for PMs and manage
efficient project assignments

* Monitor and report on metrics to evaluate
PM performance (scorecards)

* Work with resource managers on resource
requirements

* Manage the IT roster and update with hires
and terminations

* Collaborate with finance on headcount
forecast

* Assist with planning/scheduling of Project
Management training and tracking progress

* Assist with developing reports and
presentations as needed

* Prepare forecast data and review with
project and resource managers

* Create monthly/weekly analysis of KPIs
including utilization, demand and key project performance

* Review and report on weekly forecast vs
actuals

* Manage database of staff capabilities against key skills,
affiliation to competencies, practices, job role descriptions, and aspirations

* Serve as IT vendor manager: Key contact for procurement and
purchasing within UBC IT including raising purchase orders and any purchasing
queries

* Collaborate with finance to track capital projects: capital
vs expense

* Assist the PMO lead with other tasks as needed to manage the
department
