Qualifications:
Minimum of a Master's Degree in a social work or directly related mental health discipline. Applicants with a degree in Social Work must possess a minimum of an active NJ license, LSW (Licensed Social Worker) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker).

Must be approved by the NJ State Parole Board (NJSPB) adhere to all NJSPB requirements. Employees will be subject to and must comply with all security regulations and procedures of (NJSPB). Violations of NJSPB and/or being banned by the NJSPB to work at a NJSPB facility are grounds for a disciplinary action and potential termination.

Responsibilities: Participates in the assessment of clinical needs of adult offenders sentenced to the New Jersey Parole Board. Arrives at DSM IV multi-axial diagnoses with precision and accuracy by the end of the evaluation session. Develops treatment plans. Makes clinically based decisions regarding appropriateness for treatment, as well as preferred treatment modality. Assesses and makes referrals for higher levels of care, as appropriate. Demonstrates competency in recognizing the unique needs and behaviors of adults (ages 18 - 64), seniors (ages 65 +) and their families. Skilled in providing group, individual and family therapies.

This per diem position is located at the New Jersey State Parole Board (NJSPB) in Trenton, NJ.

Credential Requirement: Licensure in Social Work (LSW or LCSW) required. Valid Driver's License. Must possess own vehicle.
