POSITION: User Interface Developer

GENERAL SUMMARY
Position is for a user interface developer to join the software development team of a private, non-profit government consulting firm.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Job Functions)
This position requires a minimum of 5 years developing user interfaces for web-based applications in either the public or private sector.
Develop web templates with HTML, CSS and jQuery. Work with end users and business analysts to design effective user interfaces for business analysis tools, workflow management systems, analytic dashboards and reports.

Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
-Minimum B.S. in related discipline with five (5) or more years of professional experience designing and building web-based user interfaces.
-Strong demonstrated experience designing interfaces for websites and web-based applications including visual look and feel, graphics, navigation and layout.
-Experience with HTML, CSS and jQuery
-Experience conceptualizing and creating innovative and strategically sound visual concepts.
-Ability to interpret business and functional requirements to build cohesive web solutions with strong visual designs.
-Develop web templates with HTML, CSS,
-Excellent visual design skills.
-Excellent HTML and CSS layout skills.


Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and practices
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team of software developers.
-Experience working in a consultant/client environment.
