UTILIZATION REVIEW NURSE PRN
Bachelor s Degree required.
3-5 years of recent clinical experience, preferably in area of population specialty.
Experience in utilization review required.
Knowledge and understanding of managed care, program development, clinical pathways or guidelines, regulatory (JCAHO, HCFA) mandates required.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and critical thinking skills required. This includes the ability to read documents and assimilate ideas; and the ability to work with abstract information and formulate plans of action.
Professional and effective presentation skills required.
Strong customer service orientation and aptitude.
Current NJ-RN License required.
Experience with windows-based computer programs and ability to use computer for data analysis and data display required.
Effective problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex situations, draw conclusions and implement actions appropriately and efficiently.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
