Job Summary
Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations in order to assist radiologist in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury; provides preliminary film impressions and relays information to radiologist; assists physicians with various invasive procedures (i.e. biopsies, etc.); provides instruction on the technical aspects of ultrasonography and compiles and organizes all necessary paperwork and statistics for interpretation and proper reporting.Minimum Requirements
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or RDMS within one year of date of hire.
