Reporting to the Nurse Manager, this position is responsible for the written records and reports which comprise the patient s medical record for each hospital admission by processing all physician orders, maintaining chart forms for nursing personnel to record their observations on patient care, and filing reports from ancillary departments pertaining to each patient. This position is also accountable for maintaining open communication between nursing staff, physicians, interdepartmental personnel and the patient.
Must have previous clerical experience, preferably in a doctors office or hospital.Must be organized and able to work with minimal supervision Regular Part time Evening 1 2 Years Related Experience
