Assurant has over $27 billion in assets and $8 billion in annual revenue. � As the Processing Unit Manager, you will be directly responsible for the day-to-day activities of twenty or more associates, as well as managing the unit with a focus on driving results. The Unit is involved in providing services in the area of hazard outsourcing; processing renewals, maintenance, reinstatements, binders, applications, substitutions and cancellations of residential mortgage insurance. The hours for this positon is Monday-Friday , 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. � Key responsibilities -Proven success in leading, coaching and developing a team of associates -You will manage a unit of 15-20 associates with a focus on driving results -Ability to meet the business unit objectives, setting team or individual goals and expectations and providing ongoing feedback -Supportive of the analysis and implementation of improved workflow for increased efficiency/effectiveness -Provide timely coaching and feedback to employees regarding development -Ability to communicate vision and strategies that are focused on the key business goals -Administrative accountability for creating and updating reports to track productivity & quality -Participates in planning process and manages to established goals and objectives for unit

Required skills/experience � -One or more years of supervisory and operations experience -Excellent verbal and written communications skills and analytical skills -Demonstrated decision-making, initiative, organizational and problem solving skills required -Strong leadership and training/development skills, as well as, flexibility and adaptability to a changing fast-paced environment -Familiarity with budget processes (expense control) -Experience in making hiring and/or termination decisions Desired skills/experience � -Associate's degree and/or a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience desired -MS Office 2000 Word and Excel skills and experience, strongly desired -Experience in mortgage loan servicing or residential insurance processing is desired We offer comprehensive benefits to full-time and part-time employees including medical, dental, short-term disability, long-term disability and life insurance, 401k with profit sharing, generous paid time off and much more. � Assurant is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
