Job Description

Acts independently and advises on or manages the solution development of large, complex consulting engagements combining multiple service offerings. Acts as a leading authority on multiple service offerings, industries, and functions, and displays a deep working knowledge of others. Demonstrates expertise in integrating multiple, diverse processes and systems within a single engagement. Understands customer requirements and advises project team on highly specialized, complete solution architecture and implementation. Applies expert business skills and consulting methodologies to direct the collection and analysis of data. Makes executive presentations of engagement results. Exhibits a deep knowledge of all service offerings within HPES and may operate across HPES Lines of Business. Scopes engagements and provides expertise during proposal preparations. Influences the strategic direction of the Line of Business. Matrix manages a team of contributors.10 15 years of previous consulting or client facing experience Apply knowledge of client business strategy and the rationale behind it; client's core business competencies, market trends and business competition; client business practices, planning cycles and decision making processes; awareness of technology evolution, trends in new and emerging technologies; client budgetary constraints; and existing client IS/IT strategy to: Distill relevant business factors into superior IS strategy and IT architectural requirements that mitigate risk and exceed engineering quality standards, Develop compelling enterprise wide improvement recommendations to drive a client's IS/IT strategy through thought leadership and Leverage industry thought leaders and internal subject matter experts Apply knowledge of business strategy and rationale behind it, business practices, planning cycles and decision making processes, technology evolution, and emerging technologies to: Distill relevant business factors into architectural requirements and infrastructure choices, Demonstrate ability to provide industry leading insights and innovative capabilities, Develop innovative solutions, Exploit capabilities of new and emerging technologies, Leverage industry thought leaders/internal subject matter experts utilizing industry best practices and Develop compelling enterprise wide improvement recommendations Apply knowledge of client organizational structure and objectives of key players, stakeholders/sponsors, HPES service offerings and capabilities, leading innovation, sales pursuit strategy, value propositions, engineering development life cycle and cost model structures to: Identify where the real power is in an organization and how it flows, Gain and maintain enthusiastic support from sponsors and influencers, Distinguish between decision makers and influencers and successfully navigate organizational politics, Effectively network within the organization and build important relationships, Increase stakeholder buy in and support, Ensure leading innovation is exploited to a client's advantage, Translate client organizational objectives and critical success factors into actionable business strategies, plans and enterprise architecture, Develop compelling value propositions, Create solutions that meet client requirements, Provide input to the creation of a competitive cost model, Actively participate in the proposal development process, Identify sales pursuit opportunities from existing client capital and design investment, Collaborate with sales pursuit team in all phases of the sales cycle, Provide thought leadership, innovation and proof of capability of potential solution in pre qualification stage, Incorporate existing client investments in the design of the IS/IT strategy to allow delivery of the highest value, Provide technical guidance to the sales pursuit team, Delivered/published industry whitepapers, articles, or presentations is desirable,
