Urgent Care Manager - ARHS

Responsible for the operations, human capital management, financial performance and customer service of all programs and services in the Urgent Care Center including Occupational Medicine.

Must be a Registered Nurse with an active NC license. Must possess or be able to obtain state and federal credentials to provide DOT, Breath Alcohol, Mask Fit and Spirometry testing for Occupational Medicine services.

Previous managerial or supervisory experience required. Experience in Outpatient healthcare setting preferred. Previous experience in an urgent care environment is highly desirable.

Must have superior customer service skills and be able to resolve difficult situations.
Ability to supervise, train and evaluate staff.
Familiarity with medical billing systems, coding and medical terminology.
Must be knowledgeable of Center functions and be able to fill-in as a front desk (check-in/out) position as well as nursing/medical assistant positions.
Be trained in and demonstrate competence in CPR and emergency procedures.
Computer literate with ability to perform data entry, word processing and report generation required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and physicians.
