Job Description
We are presently seeking an experienced Vice President of Business Development to join us in our Bellevue, WA Office. This opening requires a dynamic individual who is skilled in business development, networking, editing, interpersonal communications, and organization and planning. RESPONSIBILITIES: Client Contact Meets directly with buying influences to obtain client and opportunity information Formally documents win strategy and Red Flags Tracks opportunity and informs others including Marketing of expected RFP issue date Identifies and analyzes competition and recommends teaming strategy Helps select and introduce proposed PM to client Ensures attendance at pre-proposal meeting Resource Allocation/Management Notifies Marketing of potential need for resources Provides input to develop proposal requirements Ensures corporate recruiting is briefed on the pursuit and additional positions to be filled Assists in Client debriefing as applicable Document Preparation/Review Assists in preparation of Go/No Go decision Assists in outlining document Ensures that 'win themes' are effectively presented throughout the document Reviews draft document Reviews final proposal Cost/Contracts/Legal Conducts review to determine potential conflict of interest Provides intelligence to support costing strategy Participates in legal and contractual review Leads execution of teaming agreements and memo of understandings (MOU's) with team
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 10 years experience in an Project Management role and 5 years experience in Business Development with a Construction Management as Agent firm Candidate must have a BA or BS, preferably in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management This role will require someone who has consistently generated $5-10 Million in construction management consulting fees for their firm Pacific Northwest project experience is required Familiarity with local firms and clients and has previously worked with agencies such as; WSDOT, Transit, University, Local County Governments, and K-12 clients Travel as needed/expected Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required Writing, computer, and presentation skills at an exceptional level http://www.hillintl.com/employment/everify/index.html Hill International is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V
