JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY THE POSITION
The position of Vice President, Business Development will report to the Executive Vice President & General Manager, Analytics and provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the overall growth of the company. This position requires enthusiasm for understanding client business, R have relevant business experience, and demonstrate the following:
A strong, and clearly demonstrated track record in Life Sciences consulting driven by Big Data Analytics and/or Business Intelligence
At least five years experience in client engagement/business in the Life Sciences industry
Preference will be given to business development/sales leaders in Oracle Life Sciences or Medidata with a proven track record; Relevant background from HCIT/EHR background selling to Life Sciences or the CRO industry is also welcome
Deep understanding of the processes of clinical trial/research process is necessary; adequate understanding of FDA/EMA regulatory framework.
Comfortable discussing relevant IT solutions in the Life Sciences Space (EDC/CTMS/PROs).
Experience with sales automation tools like salesforce.com is beneficial.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented environment.
Willingness to work remotely and travel 50% domestically is desirable.* Minimum of three references required during the interview process.
