Catholic Charities of Fairfield County, Inc., ( a dynamic and diverse not-for-profit agency and one of the largest private social service providers in Connecticut is seeking a seasoned financial leader to direct the overall financial plans and accounting practices of a $12 million-plus human services organization.

Reporting to the President and Chief Financial Officer, this position is responsible for the accounting, budget, and audit functions of the organization. The individual will also be accountable for financial and accounting systeminternal controls and standards and ensuring timely financial and analytical reports for management and Board use. Additional responsibilities include overseeing all financial, project/program and grant accounting, and ensuring that expenditures are consistently aligned with grant and program budgets throughout the grant/fund period; collating financial reporting materials for corporate and foundation grants; identifying federal and state grant compliance and reporting requirements and maintaining the required internal control over these federal and state programs.


Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent required, with CPA and/or MBA a plus. A minimum of 5 years experience as Finance Vice President or equivalent is a must. Non-profit experience, and Federal and State single audit compliance and Grant Accounting experience required. Salary is commensurate with experience.
