JOB DESCRIPTION

Oversee the organization's accounting and finance functions and performance at all levels.
*

Evaluate, manage and motivate all direct reports with a strong emphasis on planning, organization, preparation, follow-up, and internal communication.
*

Play a strategic role as a proactive advisor/coach to the leadership team (with support from the Sponsor) on infrastructure required to support growth, operating performance, and cash flow trends.
*

Evaluate current processes and the degree to which they support current and future state accounting and financial reporting functions; recommend and implement upgrades.
*

Implement a process to track the cost of materials and goods and enhance the process around the allocation of manufacturing overhead and labor.
*

Direct the preparation of all financial reports, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
*

Provide direction and ultimate oversight of the annual audit process.
*

Implement and oversee the multi-state sales and use tax program.
*

Manage all aspects of debt covenant compliance, including quantifying credit statistics and influencing business transactions throughout the organization to ensure compliance. Monitor covenant compliance and submit monthly reporting packages to lenders as required by credit agreements.
*

Prepare budgets and forecasts and develop appropriate analytical tools (e.g. management reporting, Key Performance Indicators, etc.) to help proactively drive business results.
*

Work in conjunction with the senior management team to understand actual manufacturing costs by product and customer profitability.
*

Evaluate and advise on growth initiatives and acquisitions.

The Vice President Finance will be responsible for and evaluated regarding their success in the following key areas:

*

Evaluate financial and operating reports and controls currently in place at the Company.
*

Develop evaluation methods to better determine profitability of various revenue streams.
*

Determine means by which the company can drive more meaningful revenue through existing sites and plan future sites (Texas and California).
*

Become a "go-to" resource for the CEO and senior management team for key business and operating decisions.

* Work with the leadership team to develop key performance indicators, and create an operational dashboard to report on KPIs.
* Implement and oversee sales and use tax program.
* Develop and oversee the 2017 budget.
* Establish a good working relationship with the Board. Be able to effectively communicate the company's historical performance, as well as any trends or market factors that will affect the business moving forward.
