JOB DESCRIPTION

APPLY
* Develop Actimize surveillance models, conduct UAT testing and create training (and best practices guidelines) for other surveillance analysts.
* Develop surveillance model requirements and for reviewing thresholds / parameters for automated surveillance solutions. Coordinate efforts with Market Surveillance team to build best of breed surveillance programs to mitigate risk.
* Monitoring business activity and facilitate ongoing compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements by helping to identify at their early stage patterns of improper behavior or activities, material or systemic weaknesses and potential problems.
* Test the effectiveness of supervisory procedures, often working with the First Line of Defense team.
* Develop a comprehensive risk-based approach to monitoring, surveillance and policy development.
* Manage the implementation, execution and management of global Compliance Oversight Programs for all business lines.
* Ensure that monitoring and surveillance procedures and parameters are aligned with Compliance Oversight Program and Quality Assurance requirements.
* Manage the creation and distribution of comprehensive Compliance Oversight updates reporting both to the business and to the Methodology Team on a monthly, annual and ad hoc basis.
* Expand monitoring to assess efficacy of FLOD in discharging their duties.
* Assist in designing themed reviews and deep dives and executing to deliver on the specified tests.
* Maintain vendor relationships for future engagements.
* Manage the preparation of annual risk assessment workshops.
* Prepare, coordinate and participate/lead in regular Compliance Oversight working groups.
* Manage the creation and distribution of comprehensive Compliance Oversight updates reporting both to the business and to the Methodology Team on a monthly, annual and ad hoc basis.
* Create best practices guidelines regarding over-the-counter derivatives. Analyze various trade exception reports.
