Job Description

Eagle Credit Union is looking for a highly qualified candidate to step in as the VP of Human Resources!

As the VP of Human Resources, you will provide valuable input to the CEO on the credit union strategic vision plan.


? Prepare, implement, and manage the budget for the department that is consistent with the overall strategic vision and budget of the credit unions
? Develop and administer various human resource plans and procedures
? Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures
? Prepare and maintain employee handbook
? Reviews, recommend, and oversees administration of the credit union?s overall benefits and compensation programs
? Responsible for the employment, coaching, leadership, counseling, performance, evaluation, training, motivation, and discipline of all subordinate employees
? Conduct recruitment efforts
? Advises managers and supervisors on desired corrective and disciplinary actions
? Provide consultation services to management and staff
? Assist in the development and management of training and employee development
? Evaluate reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to establish goals
? Seeks out, trains, and mentors potential candidates for leadership positions within the credit union

The Ideal candidate will have:

? A bachelor?s degree from a four year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training in the Credit Union/ Banking industry
? Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals
? Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
? Ability to calculate figures and amounts
? Experience using MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
? Experience with a PEO (preferred, but not required)
? Experience with HRIS (preferred, but not required)
