The flagship of the Health System is Northern Michigan Regional Hospital, a 202-bed, regional referral center located in Petoskey, MI. With a medical staff of nearly 200 physicians representing nearly all medical and surgical specialties, patients have access to award-winning care close to home.
We are recruiting a Vice President of Medical Affairs to join our Executive Team. The VPMA serves as a liaison between hospital administration, the medical staff and the board of trustees. He or she is a resource to the medical staff committees, including the executive and credential committees to strengthen the credentialing/privileging process and to ensure compliance with the medical staff bylaws, policies, rules and regulations. Education: Board Certified MD or DO eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan
Experience: Substantial administrative experience as a VPMA or Clinical Department Chair or other significant leadership position. Superior clinical competence and experience as a practitioner.
