URS Apptis is looking for a VTC Engineer to join our team at Fort Meade, Maryland!

Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing technical and operational guidance in establishing and operating the video teleconferencing system
Responsible for resolving all VTC technical, planning, and coordination issues with DVS and JWICS systems.
Responsible for requesting accounts and updating all contact information on DVS and JWICS scheduling sites.
Responsible for training users how to set up the rooms for DCO, VTC, and audio conferencing.
Responsible for coordinating the scheduling of VTCs at the DISA DCC.
Responsible for checking circuits quality prior to VTCs to prevent VTC impacts.
Responsible for follow up on any issues/impact, coordinate with DISA DCC and end user customer to determine reason for outage (RFO), assist VTC customers with any VTC related issues, monitor upcoming ASIs, and brief the DCC Watch Officer of any hi-visibility GO/FO impacts.
Requirements:

Should have an Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Systems, Systems Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
This position requires a minimum of five years experience, of which at least three years must be specialized.
Specialized experience includes: analytically solving problems of workflows, organization and planning. General experience includes increasing responsibilities in VTC systems.
Top Secret SCI Security Clearance required.
