BASIC FUNCTION: The Guest Services Attendant is responsible for greeting and welcoming all guests in a hospitable manner. The Guest Services Attendant will assist in unloading guests luggage, and rooming of guests in a professional manner that exemplifies the service commitment. The Attendant is also responsible for the handling of parking congestion on property, as well as giving directions and information on all departments. Provide courteous, safe and reliable transportation to guests at the direction of the management and to insure arrival and departure times are being met. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & WORK EXPERIENCE High school graduate or equivalent. Two years of college education preferred. Class C Drivers License/CDL Approved DMV driving record Pass DOT annual physical Pass road test with CLE onsite examiner (FOM) Experience in the service industry preferably in the hospitality industry. Service orientation, communication and analytical abilities. Pleasant phone demeanor. Ability to solve problems. Ability to read maps. Knowledge of emergency procedures of the road. Ability to drive in diverse road conditions and chain vehicles in the event of a snowstorm. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operating CLE shuttle within Lockheed Martin guidelines. Complete daily log of driving hours Complete daily inspection of any Lockheed Martin vehicle and turn in checklist to supervisor Responsible for ensuring all guests can park their cars in a quick, safe and friendly manner. Ensure guests automobiles are able to access/exit at anytime, which may require snow removal during winter season. Delivery of guests laundry, messages, and parcels. Delivering guests luggage to rooms in a timely fashion providing useful information and assistance as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the Lobby, Front Circle, and parking lot areas. Maintain traffic control, ensuring fire lanes are kept clear. Securing taxi and other transportation for guests. Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures. Maintain cleanliness and stock items in fitness center Assist front desk with check in/check out Answering phones at front desk Assist other departments as needed Provide warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guest. Accurate documentation on all laundry tickets to ensure accurate billing & good service to our guests. Clearly explain parking fees and luggage procedures. Provide useful information and assistance as needed. Responsible for safely driving guests to their destinations. Assist guests with luggage, parcels and inquiries. Effectively communicate with dispatch to ensure timely pickup of guests. Be conversational with guests, remembering that the Driver will be a lasting impression for the guests. Maintain cleanliness of property vehicles and report any maintenance needed to the Front Office Manager every day. Perform scheduled maintenance checks and keep mileage logs Give directions to area sites. Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures. Fuel vehicle after each time used. Must maintain good driving record and report any violations to Front Office Manager within four days. Attend all necessary meetings. MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: Snow removal as necessary. Painting and maintenance of Bell Closet Area. Tending the lobby. Assist in cleanliness of lobby area, the Great Room and guesthouse hallways. Any other reasonable tasks as assigned. Cross trained as a reservation agent. ENVIRONMENT: Outdoor work with variable temperature and weather conditions. Driving a vehicle from one location to another, with frequent stops in which the Driver will be required to step out and assist with luggage, and/or parcels. Constant guest contact.
