Validation Engineer

Hospira currently has an opening for a Validation Engineer at our McPherson, KS location.

Job Responsibilities:
�

-Coordinates the activities of the validation program
-Maintaining list of re-validations
-Schedules the qualifications with involved departments
-Collect, review and summarize the data in a final report
-Assist validation analysts in revising existing qualification procedures
-Completes new product validation checklists
-Coordinates change control and keeps the validation tracking system updated
-Assist in writing and executing laboratory instrument and computer/software, PLC qualification protocols

-Bachelor's degree in technical field (engineering, microbiology, chemistry, pharmacy, etc.) or Non-Technical Bachelor�� s degree plus 2 years of experience in validation or validation related activities
-Experience includes execution of validation in any of the following areas: sterilization, preparation, filling, engineering, laboratories, compounding, equipment, and/or computers
-Must have knowledge of GMP and validation guidelines
-Requires good interpersonal, technical writing, and communication skills
-Knowledge of computers with the following software is necessary: Word, Excel, and Access. Successful applicant should have experience in computer/software and/or laboratory instrumentation
