Vehicle Software Engineer
Job Description ENSCO Avionics, Inc is seeking a software engineer to:
design, develop, test and integrate software for PC based fleet monitoring software
have a working knowledge of Embarcadero C++ Builder, which will involve requirements through design modifications
have considerable modification experience to migrate from Microsoft Access to SQL Server
The Program is utilized to track health, performance, and diagnostic aspects of commercial vehicle systems. Follow on tasks include:
software requirements, code, and validation efforts for Avionic control systems
embedded experience is a plus
Qualifications Required (Skills)
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; 2 years related experience.
Proficient in Excel at intermediate or higher level (tasks will include database manipulation, formulas, and format components)
Proficient in Access at intermediate or higher level (tasks will include database manipulation, formulas, and format components)
Experience with Embarcadero (or prior Borland C++ Builder) including GUI design and Database controls
Experience with Database development with tools such as SQL Server or MySQL
Software tool experience on Windows and UNIX based platforms (required to install, configure, and utilize Windows and UNIX programs)
Excellent verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients and colleagues
Excellent interpersonal skills including working in team environments
Must be a U.S. Citizen
