JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY _VISION: _ Value adding role. Expanding division of global corporation has centralized supply chain operations in New Haven County. New role that will partner with product development, engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing as part of a "best practices" supply chain team. Business manufacturers and markets finished products to commercial, industrial, and government markets.
_OPPORTUNITY: _Client is looking for promotable talent. Initial role will center on government contracts and vendor agreements. Support product procurement and certification requirements for product sourcing data. This will require developing new procurement research and management processes as well as management of data collection, analysis, and compliance reporting to support government contracts and regulations.
Communicate with global suppliers as well as with international business units; track new suppliers and products to ensure compliance requirements. Create KPIs and data streams to alert all internal and external customers on status. Research and any inconsistencies and validate supplier data.
Upside career growth can be in product development, regulatory affairs, product marketing or supply chain management.
_REQUIREMENTS_: BS/BA required. Seek 3+ years of vendor management analysis and government regulatory compliance from a government, defense and/or military manufacturer. Candidates might have worked for DRS Technologies, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman, Sikorsky, or UTC Aerospace.
_REWARD_: $70,000 to $100,000 DOE plus 10% bonus target, excellent benefits and upside potential
