JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Summary
As the individual responsible for Vertical Solutions Enablement, you will play an integral role in accelerating revenue potential across NetApp s 100 most strategically-significant global accounts (G100.) In this role, you will be accountable for creating relevant and informative collateral, targeted to a specific vertical (e.g., Hi-Tech, Banking / Financial Services), to ultimately enable sales teams to craft competitive and compelling solution offerings to common business challenges. This role is designed for very effective communicators that are able to explain high technical and complex concepts in simple terms.
Prepare instructional and descriptive literature for existing product and service offerings, tailored specifically for target verticals (such as Hi-Tech or Banking and Financial Services), along with periodic reports of competitive solution offerings
Provide technical- and business-lens guidance to sales force for common vertical challenges
Monitor product and services sales to analyze solution offering and pricing effectiveness
Collect and maintain competitive information to present complete market evaluation for specific products within a given vertical
Lead discovery sessions with prospective customers/accounts to map vertically-specific business and technical requirements to NetApp products and services
Develop and introduce new solution offerings relevant to given vertical
Work closely with marketing organization to create awareness and demand within G100 accounts for NetApp products and services
Supports the delivery of custom demonstrations and presentations of NetApp vertical solutions to key account decision makers
Train Sales Force and resellers on effective vertical solution offering selling points
Prepare, maintain and update documents and sales tools for using product presentations along with technical training seminars
Experience with architecture design concepts and techniques and a proven ability to communicate and evangelize those concepts to a broad based team; Must have proven track record of crafting winning solutions offerings in Hi-Tech or Financial Services industry verticals
Experience with client management, technical architecture and planning for large scale projects and/or strategically significant accounts
Possesses business acumen and knowledge of NetApp markets and key product/service differentiators
Must be customer focused to understand and appropriately respond to customers' business needs
Demonstrated ability to prepare specifications and reports, deliver oral presentations, and explain complex technical concepts in simple terms

o This individual must demonstrate favorable results through providing leadership to the function.
o The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert.
Education and Experience
Education & Experience:
A minimum of 12 years of experience is required.
A Bachelor of Arts of Science Degree is required or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects.
