POSITION TITLE: Vice President, Asset Management

POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position will be responsible for the overall development, management and direction of the Asset Management function of the Crestmark Equipment Finance division (CEF).

The primary job responsibilities include:

Strategic direction related to the products and services provided by CEF
*

Pricing CEF lease/loan and related transactions.Will require a thorough understanding and capabilities related to equipment value forecasting, residual setting, appraisal management and industry research/networking to support the activities.
*

Transaction process design, asset/residual monitoring, and oversight related to the logistics of CEF's end-of-lease activities.
*

Work closely with the CEF Exec team to identify and provide new products/services initiatives, and support Credit and Sales in developing new business proposals for CEF existing and prospective customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

*

Upfront residual setting and lease structuring/pricing
*

SalesForce and Aspire administration for all pricing
*

LeasePortfolio Management and Forecasting/Reporting
*

End of Lease quotes and data for larger residuals
*

Lease Restructuring
*

Management of 3rd party remarketing partners
*

Ad-hoc management reports

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

*

Minimum 7years of experience valuing a wide variety of collateral types:

*

Life sciences
*

General capital equipment
*

Alternative Energy

*

Solid knowledge of various equipment financing products including operating leases, conditional sales, and sale / leasebacks
*

Working knowledge of equipment finance documentation is required, as well as a solid understanding of lease pricing, strong business judgment, and risk assessment skills.
*

Ability to use a wide variety of research resources, including technical publications, on-line databases, consultant services, industry and technical experts, and secondary market contacts.
*

Hands-on experience with remarketing, including equipment sales, renewals, terminations, and repossessions. Proven negotiation skills and a successful track record in portfolio management and end of leasesales and disposition are required.

Undergraduate business degree
