Vice President, Business Process and Systems

Chartis has an opportunity for a Vice President, Business Process and Systems in its Executive Liability division. Performance objectives in this role are as follows: * Manage all system development and maintenance activities for Executive Liability, including business case development, identifying business requirements, overseeing User Acceptance Testing and conducting post-production monitoring of systems. * Represent Executive Liability needs and interests in all Chartis-wide systems implementation that will have impact on our business. * Work with senior management to develop and execute project plans for both systems and non-systems related initiatives related to critical strategic business initiatives, and in particular, to the new Executive Liability underwriting system. * Develop and execute communication plan for keeping managers up to date on status as well as to obtain input and feedback on prioritization and strategy. * Manage business process improvement initiatives, including documenting existing processes and procedures, defining needs, evaluating workflow and developing and implementing solutions to improve processes. * Develop associated business cases, including identification and tracking of benefits. * Develop and maintain a comprehensive systems training curricula for underwriters including development of training materials and conducting live and recorded sessions. * Address any control deficiencies and ensure transactional/operations processes related to system comply with Sarbox guidelines. * Develop Business Analyst Staff * Ten or more years of experience in business analysis, business systems analysis and project management positions, with increasing levels of responsibilites. * Strong and proven team management abilities. * Bachelor's degree and PMP certification required. * Experience managing a budget and allocations. * Expert level of knowledge using MS Office Suite (including Excel and Access)
