Stonebridge Companies is looking for an experienced Vice President of Design and Construction located in our Corporate Office in Centennial, CO. Overall Responsibilities: Manage a team of three seasoned construction personnel on all aspects of the development process of complex urban hotel development projects. This includes all phases of development and project management including acquisition, financing, zoning/entitlements, design, permitting, manage and oversee contractor performance during all construction phases, manage and supervise internal design and development team, leasing, and disposition of all phases of construction deliverables. Must work with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality in a highly entrepreneurial environment. Work collaboratively with internal and external departments and operations teams to coordinate hotel efforts related to hotel acquisitions, dispositions, new builds and other transactions. Principal Responsibilities: * Assist senior management in preparing the financial and market feasibility analysis * Prepare and monitor budgets, including preparation of monthly loan draw packages and lender and/or investor reports. Obtain project entitlements and permits, including meetings with local jurisdictions to negotiate outstanding issues. * Interface with hotel brand companies, managers, etc. including negotiation of key business terms and related agreements * Exceptional Project Management Experience. Oversee RFP and contracting process for architects, engineers, contractors, and other project consultants. * Compare consultant proposals and scopes, and formulate recommendations for the development team. * Track project schedules and monitor progress and delays. * Manage budgets and financial analytics to keep project-specific economic models up to date. * Schedule and conduct design and construction meetings. * Coordinate and attend meetings with regulatory and public officials. * Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies, and regularly report project status to senior management. Education and Experience * Minimum Essential Qualifications, Bachelors Degree in related field required * Preference given to candidates with MBA or Masters degree * Minimum of 4-6 years of development experience at the VP level in hotel and mixed-use experience in domestic urban developments from inception to grand opening. * Brand experience in Hilton and Marriott Brands is required. * Demonstrated ability to work independently * Proven leadership skills needed to manage development team.
