Job Description Position Summary: Leads the corporate food safety, quality assurance, nutrition services, and corporate standards teams within their provision of responsibility for Reinhart Foodservice Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Serve as food safety, quality, and security subject matter expert. Represent Reinhart on industry food safety, security, enterprise risk management (ERM), GFSI, Global Standards Initiative (GS1), National Restaurant Association (NRA) and International Food Distributor Association (IFDA) boards and work groups. Analyzes governmental and multi-unit account food safety and security initiatives for incorporation into Reinhart operating procedures Provides technical and scientific food safety justification and opinions to legal, risk management, and operations in relation to bids, regulatory situations, and document review Analyze & negotiate resolution of food safety and quality issues Oversee QA Manager, QA Technician and FSQA Specialists Ensure the nutritional services expectations of customers are met. The Nutritional Services TeamVendor and product data integrity oversight (Corporate Standards) relies on education, experience and judgment to plan and accomplish quality assurance, nutrition services, and corporate standards individual and team goals aligned with Reinhart initiatives. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year College or University. Equivalent experience can be considered. 10+ years related experience in Quality Assurance/Food Safety. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test. Competent with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Self-starter, able to function effectively under pressure and will have the ability to multi-task. Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism are required to be successful in this position. Extensive experience in a food/beverage manufacturing and laboratory environment, HACCP, and food safety practices Preferred Skills and Experience: Distribution industry experience is a plus.
