Innovative and growing hotel and real estate development company seeks a practical and strategic Vice President of Human Resources of Shared Services to serve as the business partner and liaison from corporate to the field operations teams. The role will provide the overall execution of the Human Resource systems, processes and business practices in the field including overall guidance on SOPs and key strategic operation initiatives, recruiting and retaining exceptional team members and associate engagement. This role will also ensure compliance with all brand and non-brand training standards and regulations, identifying gaps and solutions to assist in the development of appropriate policy, procedure and SOPs improvements. This is a home based position and will require 50%travel. Candidates can reside in Nashville TN, Denver CO, Dallas TX or Philadelphia PA.
Successful candidate must have a minimum of 7 years experience in an Human Resource role within a large, superior quality lodging/hotel company including numerous years of experience in employee relations, training and recruiting in a hospitality setting. Hiring organization is looking for a tactical and strategic developer of people with the practical knowledge and relationship skills to partner well with corporate and field teams equally. Successful demonstration of the ability to lead a team of HR Managers/Directors as well as the creative initiative to implement new programs and processes in a growing company is necessary. A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field is required along with current Human Resource certifications.
