Job Description

Vice President of Merchant Relationships
Our client Company is looking for an exceptional individual to lead the merchant relations team for us. You will work with the affiliate networks and a number of merchants directly, working to deepen our relationships, both in terms of meeting our partners incremental revenue and other needs as well as securing for our company the most favorable possible terms.
Responsibilities

Establish and deepen relationships with affiliate networks and merchants to ensure we are meeting their incremental revenue and other needs and that our company has the best possible terms.
Develop a quantitative model to assess 'coverage' and both measure improvements and keep your efforts focused where they will have the most revenue and customer impact.
Work with marketing to develop collateral and out-reach plans to establish our company as a known and favored partner throughout the merchant universe.
Develop an internationalization plan for targeting and executing roll-out into new geographies.

Requirements

Significant experience and contacts in high-volume merchant or advertiser relationships at an affiliate network or other multi-merchant entity.
Demonstrated ability to establish relationships with merchants or networks and drive positive relationships and positive mindshare.
Quantitative analysis skills to understand our current state of coverage and to drive understanding of where work should be targeted.
Professional presence, strong oral and written communication skills.
Deep experience with and relationships in performance marketing. For this position experience and existing relationships are much more important than formal education. A college degree is preferred but not required.
