Job Details Island Hospitality Management is currently seeking a Vice President of Revenue Management to ensure that each hotel in the company's portfolio is set up to maximize revenue/profit/market share. Their responsibility is to oversee a team of Revenue Managers that develop and execute strategies that improve the company's performance. Primary Responsibilities: Supervise Revenue Managers Update property revenue management call process. Participate on revenue manager/property scheduled calls. Review and train as necessary. Develop ' Best Practices' for the team. Identify opportunity areas and review how to improve. Create an audit that can be used to verify decisions making process. Ensure documented calls/checklists are being followed. Evaluate quarterly programs of poor revenue management teams to share gains and effectiveness reporting. Forecasting Responsible for the creation of the company's weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual forecast. Identify revenue opportunities through forecasting process and make/recommend adjustments. Hotel Evaluation Utilize all brand tools to evaluate hotel performance. View demand and price sensitivity as well as competitive shop data. Miscellaneous Manage special events and I leads dates. Manage budgeting process to include rate/account review. Execute field base training. Create reports and analysis on regular basis and upon request. Manage on the books reports/analyze trends - prior year. Monitor transient pricing strategy. Participate in accounts for national pricing strategies and local negotiated accounts. Participate in competition assessment and compliance to the marketing plans. Any other duties assigned by Supervisor.
