A recognized leader in helping small and medium sized businesses grow through business solutions is seeking energetic sales leader for a field-based Vice President position. This position is responsible for the execution of the sales strategy through business solutions, leveraging products such as Merchant Services, point of sale solution, loyalty solutions, web solutions and ecommerce, mobile solutions and cash advance programs. We focus on a solution-based, consultative selling approach designed to help our business owners grow their businesses.

The VP is responsible for recruiting, coaching, training, and motivating the company's sales force. The VP will be responsible for coaching their Sales Managers in the achievement of each office's sales quota, regional office relationship and lead generation, and the acquisition, development and retention of productive sales talent. Develops and executes strategic/top-level sales and management activities including strategic and tactical planning, go to market strategy formulation for each assigned region. The VP of Sales will achieve success only through the success of the overall of each office and sales team.

We want our sales offices to create sales opportunities through self-sourcing and leveraging leads from multiple sources. This requires the ability to generate new opportunities by cold-calling on merchants; the successful Vice President candidate must be able to coach Sales Managers and their teams to maximize opportunities generated and establish a strong pipeline.

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years of experience leading an outside sales organization, including managing large geographic territories and business partnerships in merchant services

3+ years of experience managing managers and/or directors with direct reports

Demonstrated success in coaching, training, and motivating teams, as well as successfully selecting talent and integrating talent into an effective team

Proven record of recruiting, developing and managing a team to achieve and exceed their sales quota goals and manage pipelines

Ability to adapt and navigate through complex business issues in a fast paced, constantly changing environment

Technologically savvy; comfortable with tablet and cloud-based solutions and able to apply technology to help grow small businesses

Passion for continuously learning about and leveraging new technology

Entrepreneurial spirit

Highly self-motivated, aggressive, energetic, creative, and personable

This requires strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong listening skills, ensuring success as the main point of contact for your portfolio of clients

Relationship management or account management experience a plus

Experience and capability to build new and immediate relationships of trust with clients

Demonstrated success and achievement of challenging goals and expectations

Ability to develop a plan to effectively produce top line sales growth

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelors degree or equivalent with 7+ years sales experience preferred, including 2-3 years management experience.
