Videoconferencing Engineer

P Experis has a Videoconferencing Engineer position with our client in Denver for a year-long contract. Our client is a leading provider of services such as video conferencing, audio conferencing, web conferencing, streaming & video network management services & equipment. BR BR The person in this position functions as a key member of the our clients Network Engineering team and is responsible for planning, design, implementation, operation and optimization of existing and future conferencing technologies. BR BR Successful candidates will possess expert level knowledge of Polycom and Tandberg Videoconferencing technology solutions, with a particular focus on core components as MCUs, gatekeepers, Firewall traversal and management solutions. The candidate will have experience with Telepresence technologies from Cisco, Tandberg and Polycom. Design and planning as well as implementation and operation are required. The candidate will have a solid understanding of TCP/IP (LAN/WAN) and ISDN networking principles. BR BR STRONG Primary responsibilities include: BR /STRONG /P UL LI Provide expert level knowledge in Videoconferencing applications and technology. /LI LI Provide expert level knowledge in Videoconferencing infrastructure administration and support. /LI LI Provide associate level knowledge in TCP/IP network administration and support. /LI LI Execute technical design, engineering, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of videoconferencing infrastructure and related systems. /LI LI Conduct pre and post sale customer unified communications solution design and engineering. /LI LI Provide top tier support of our clients Multitenant and Customer managed videoconferencing and Telepresence solutions. /LI LI Provide top tier support to first and second level Technology and Operations team members. /LI LI Maintain clear documentation on all system configurations and changes. /LI LI Operate in a mission critical, 24x7 environment. /LI LI Provide assistance with inter-departmental and intra-departmental projects as required. /LI /UL P STRONG Qualifications and Experience: /STRONG /P UL LI Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience with administration, implementation and support of videoconferencing infrastructure and end user equipment and associated networks. /LI LI Experience with administration and support of Telepresence infrastructure and end user equipment and associated networks, from Cisco, Tandberg or Polycom. /LI LI Understanding of IP networking principles and concepts, especially with regard to transport of Real Time Videoconferencing/Telepresence traffic. /LI LI Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; have strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills. /LI LI Must be a team player and possess the flexibility to work in a dynamic, 24x7 environment. /LI LI Certifications CVE, TCE1, TCE2, CCNA, or other relevant industry certifications are desirable /LI /UL P BR Experis, formerly COMSYS, is a leading IT services company with 52 plus offices across the U.S. and offices in Puerto Rico, Canada and the U.K. COMSYS service offerings include contingent and direct hire placement of IT professionals as well as a wide range of technical services and solutions across the enterprise. /P P Send resumes to (see below) or call for more information. /P img src='http://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?f947XeHnylA2%2brF4N8f6oQv' width='0' height='0' /
