JOB DESCRIPTIONBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
*Must have detailed experience with Genesys 8.x platform architecture in a multi-site environment.
*Must have solid experience designing Genesys Orchestrate call flows using Composer.
*Must have experience with Linux/Unix OS system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, preventative maintenance, and security procedures.
*Must have working knowledge of Oracle DBs, PLSQL commands, XML and SOAP.
*Must have basic understanding of VoIP - SIP call troubleshooting.
*Must have troubleshooting skills and ability to understand complex relationships between components of multi-tiered applications.
*Must have critical thinking and problem solving skills, with ability to analyze complex workflows, prioritize multiple tasks and make key decisions during platform outages.
*Must be able to cultivate and maintain positive relations with customers and IT staff. Fully understands how the business relates to the technical aspects of the position.
*Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to closure.
*Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team, have outstanding customer service skills and excellent communication skills for interaction with users at all levels.
*Strong ability to manage multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities. Takes initiative for self-management. Attention to detail is required.
*Should understand carrier-based advanced features, OSI layers, computer telephony integration (CTI) and various types of call routing.
*Should have familiarity with SIP media gateways and Session Border Controllers (Cisco, Acme Packet, etc.).
*B.A. or B.S. Degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
