Job Description
SUMMARY:
Raytheon, Intelligence and Information Systems (IIS), is seeking a highly motivated, qualified professional to be a Vulnerability Assessment Team (VAT) Lead in support of NGA.
Required Skill sets:
The following experience is required for the position:
* Minimum of 8 years experience related to Information Assurance/Cyber Technologies
* Minimum of 8 years experience in Intelligence collection, analysis, and reporting process/procedures
* Strong technical skills and analytic abilities, as well as, experience performing network security analysis and risk management
* Broad knowledge of Information Security policies and guidance, as well as the ability to assist in researching, evaluating, and developing relevant security policies and guidance
* Broad knowledge of network architectures and network management tools
* Ability to translate an understanding of systems and applications into security test plans and perform hands on security testing
* Experience in using Information Assurance test and risk assessment tools
* Demonstrated ability to analyze test results and suggest mitigations for security problems
* Knowledge of Intelligence Community Information Assurance policies and regulations and how the certification and accreditation (C&A) process relates to it
* Demonstrated excellence in analytical skills related to hacking
* Demonstrated successful supervision of employees of various labor categories and skills in efforts similar in size and scope this task order
* Knowledge of network exploitation, ethical hacking, penetration testing, tool development, practices related to penetration testing methodologies
* Demonstrated excellence in planning, directing, and managing red and blue teaming missions
* Demonstrates knowledge in information technologies to include computer hardware and software, operating systems, and networking protocols
* Able to provide consulting in several areas of security that may include penetration testing, application vulnerability assessments, network vulnerability assessments, wireless security or web application assessments
* Experience in analyzing audit logs, router logs, firewall logs, IDS logs and IPS logs
* Current experience with network intrusion detection and response operation
* Experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships in all levels of the organization, including customers, organizations, internal management, and support organizations
Desired Skill Sets:
* Technical experience with web security architectures and web technologies such as Java, JavaScript, and HTML
* Technical experience with Windows NT, Windows XP Pro, Windows 2000 server, Solaris, and/or Linux
* Understanding of UNIX kernel security internals
* Understanding of certificate-based identification and authentication
* Ability in performing technical surveys to detect wireless activity and locate wireless devices
* Experience with devices/utilities such as ArcSight, NetWitness, and Remedy are a plus
* Experience using and customizing software tools that store and parse the data collected, for analysis and reports

* DoDi 8570.01-M IAM/IAT Level III Compliant
Highly Desired
* DoDI 8570.01-M IASAE Level III Compliant
* DoDII 8570.01-M CND Incident Responder Compliant
Clearance:
* Current and active TS/SCI clearance required
