demands of the community for inpatient psychiatric beds.
We currently have immediate needs for: Weekend RN's!
Shifts are either 8a-8p or 8p-8a! Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN
preferred.
Experience:
One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults,
adolescents
and/or children preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Current North Carolina State Registered Nurse License
or compact
state RN license
Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association,
Healthcare
Provider required)
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of appropriate nursing assessment,
diagnoses, &
interventions with patients.
Knowledge of milieu management.
Ability to direct subordinates in the performance of
their duties.
Ability to accurately administer medication and
monitor
side-effects.
Ability to safely implement Special Treatment
Procedures.
Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with
patients and
families
Skill in preparing and maintaining appropriate medical
record
documentation
