Job Description and Responsibilities

Coherent Laser Systems and Measurement (LSM) designs and manufactures precision solid state lasers for scientific, medical, instrumentation and vision markets, as well as calibrated laser measurement systems for a wide variety of laser type and power applications. The business provides critical technology to thousands of global customers with a wide range of products specifically tailored to satisfy demanding customer requirements. LSM is located just minutes South of Portland, Oregon and enjoys spectacular North West weather and activity opportunities.

This position is responsible for all aspects of receiving, shipping, replenishment processes and inventory control in a high paced manufacturing environment. Job duties include: Supervising a team of employees to ensure products are received, stored and shipped in an accurate and efficient manner to meet overall objectives. Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures. Maintains documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure an efficient operation

Education and Work Experience

3 - 5 years related warehouse/logistics supervisor experience in a fast paced high tech manufacturing environment with overall responsibility for receiving, inventory control, accuracy, material replenishment and shipping,. Excellent oral and written communication skills; Proficiency in MS office and Oracle. Experience with lean and 5S disciplines is desired. High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
