Warehouse Management System (WMS) Developer

Robert Half Technology is searching for a Manhattan Associates supply chain management software developer, for a great opportunity in the South West Suburbs. An IT background with strong knowledge of SQL, basic scripting and IT project lifecycle experience is a must. The software is developed on a .Net framework.

Project Scope
Support Manhattan Associates supply chain management software/ Experience with ILS or Scale
Analyze and resolve technical issues that arise.
Develop high-quality, client-specific enhancements within established timelines.
Support all technical aspects involved in implementation of additional functionality. .
Should be self-motivated, determined to meet deadlines as well as able to make decisions independently to achieve them.
Will have to understand business and performance requirements of the application.

Requirements:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge with databases.
2-4 years of related experience.
BS Computer Science or related field, MS a plus.
Develop, support, and maintain program strategy
Define, prioritize, plan and implement solutions across multiple complex projects.
Build, drive and track project plan
Provide status reports to leadership and review boards on complex development projects.
Expert knowledge of Transportation management Systems (Manhattan Associates TMS knowledge a plus)
IT background with strong knowledge of SQL, basic scripting and IT project lifecycle with some database knowledge
MS Project Server
Ability to manage resources, projects, and develop program strategy.
Strong knowledge of Transportation Business Processes.
