JOB SUMMARY (BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

* Responsible for coordination of all wastewater treatment serving as the Operator-In-Charge for the facility.

* Coordinate and participate in day to day activities to maintain the 5S score for the team and ensure conformance with the department goals for 5S.

* Work with the team and maintenance to ensure that both operator and maintenance level preventive maintenance is maintained in a timely manner and within the due dates for all equipment for the process.

* Monitors, verifies and reports required analytical testing, titrations, solids analysis, sample collection, etc.

* Performs weekly waste audits and coordinates waste pickups and the handling of recycled wastes.

* Troubleshoots quality issues by performing tests and completing all of the corrective action reports in a timely manner.

* Serves as a technical antenna for all paint finishing operations for the Seneca, SC facility and monitors and assists in the performance and communication for all color reports, thickness measurements, gloss determination, etc.

* Ability to serve as liaison between the team and management.

* Will perform other duties as required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (INCLUDE TASKS, SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED):

* Level A or higher Physical/Chemical Waste Treatment Operator License

EQUIPMENT, MACHINES, AND TOOLS USED:

* Computer skills with Excel, Word, Access, SPC, Outlook and other required programs. Technical knowledge of operation of Plate and Frame Filter Press. E-Coat Paint system. pH Meters. Color Spectrophotometer, coating thickness gauge, and gloss meter. Cure Ovens. Powder Coat Burn Off Ovens. Powered Industrial Trucks (Fork Trucks). 55 Gallon Drum Handlers. Tools for pump rebuilds. Other process Equipment as identified.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (INCLUDING LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS):

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Level A or higher Physical/Chemical Waste Treatment licensed by the South Carolina Environmental Certification Board in accordance with appropriate state laws.

* Valid state drivers license.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

* Must be self directed, posses a technical knowledge of system operation and willing to work O/T with limited to no advanced notification.

* Must be capable of lifting up to 40 lbs, 80 lbs team lift, repeatedly throughout the work day.

* Standing for long periods of time.

* Bending, crawling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
