The Information and Communications Laboratory (ICL) is seeking a hardworking web application developer with full application stack experience who is familiar with continuous integration / agile environments. The candidate will develop software in response to customer driven problems. The Innovative Computing Division solves problem by marrying the right architecture to the right software to meet the customer s unique needs. These novel solutions are free from proprietary constraints, and can scale and change with evolving environments. INNC is looking for a candidate that enjoys a collaborative research environment and a commitment to diversity, professional development, and free coffee.


Education: BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or related computer / engineering discipline)


3-5 years of full-stack web application development experience is desired. Experience with continuous integration / agile environments; with Angular or similar front-end JS development; with server-side development to build REST APIs in Python, Ruby, Java, etc; with team collaboration software: Confluence, Jira/Github, etc. Strong motivation to learn and grow as a developer and willingness to roll up your sleeves and develop using new technologies.

Technical Skills:

o Linux (Ubuntu/Debian, RHEL/CentOS, or similar)

o Development Tools (Git, Vagrant/Docker)

o Web Server (Apache/Nginx or similar)

o DB (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle or similar)

o Web Technologies (HTML, JS, CSS)


Research experience: Data/Visualization Analytics, Simulation/Modeling, or any other computational science/engineering discipline

Mobile Development: Any experience developing mobile applications is desired, but not required.

Other: Candidate must be a US citizen capable of holding a Secret DoD Security clearance.
