Web Developer

Classification: Programmer/Analyst

Compensation: $38.00 to $44.00 per hour

We have a client in Morris County looking for a Mobile Application Developer. The position will include the creation of native applications for iOS, Android, BlackBerry and WebOS. You will be tasked with developing within the standard SDKs to accomplish the functional and aesthetic visions set forth by our design and product development teams. You will work as part of an execution team to launch new products, and maintain existing ones, within the mobile space.

Overview

Develop native mobile applications using standard SDKs.
Program in a manner to allow as much sharing of code between multi-platform applications.
Assist in the provisioning, testing and application deployment process.
Member of an execution team, which includes designers and product developers.
Work with a producer, who will handle project schedules and client communication.

Ideal Candidate:

Three to five years of experience, preferably working within a team environment across a variety of industries.
Must have at least one working application in the App Store, Android Market or BlackBerry App World for which you served as lead developer.
Excellent knowledge of native mobile application SDKs and mobile development methodology.
Knowledge of iOS, Android and/or BlackBerry SDK/Platform, preferably all three.

Working knowledge of other mobile platforms (Windows Phone 7, WebOS, Symbian) preferred.
Game development experience is a major plus.
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written); effective communication of issues and resolutions to team members.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Self-motivation to work independently as well as to be an effective and driving force as part of a team.
Be highly proactive, quick on your feet and possess a solution-driven approach to problem solving.
Meticulous adherence to details and production schedules.
