Job Description

This is a senior development management position that is responsible for ensuring the design, development, and deployment of Lexmark s customer-facing web sites and web applications meet the online marketing and commerce needs of our global business. The Web Development Senior Manager will lead a team of Web Developers, Project Managers, and Third-party vendors that work collaboratively with an online Sales & Marketing team to deliver a dynamic web-site that makes it simple for our business customers to research, purchase, and get support for our award winning products, solutions, and services. This team also works collaboratively with Information Technology teams to ensure integrations with key financial, CRM, content management, and fulfillment applications are designed appropriately, and maximize the ease of future upgrades and enhancements.

This position is responsible for people management of an 8-12 person team.

Job Duties:

- Provide vision and leadership for Lexmark s global customer-facing web infrastructure. Ensure the technology and infrastructure is in place to meet our business goals for commerce and customer satisfaction. Institute a philosophy of continuous improvement by ensuring quality processes are defined and practiced across the multi-site team.
- Manage a department of on-shore and off-shore web developers, project managers, testers, third-party vendors and system integrators responsible for developing and deploying e-commerce and e-marketing web sites.

- Manage all third-party vendors and system integrators that provide technical development and integration services for the web platform.

- Manage capital and expense budgets for all technical web projects.


Necessary Skills / Qualifications:

- 10+ years experience in various project management, leadership, and people management positions within a development organization.
- 3-5 years of experience managing web development teams.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for web architecture, Content Management Systems, web development, and web support.
- Experienced in managing complex projects with aggressive deadlines. Must have the ability to exercise mature judgment when making trade-off decisions.

- Passion for web technology. Desire to keep knowledgeable on latest Industry trends and capabilities, and advise which should be included in a long-term web strategy.

Education Required:

Requires a Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
