Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science or related area and at least three (3) years of experience in the field or in a related area. Must have experience in web application development using JSP, PHP, ASP, and/or .Net with a high level of proficiency in two (2) of the four (4) aforementioned development languages. Has a working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the web application development field (i.e., SQL, HTML, CCS, CGI and JavaScript).

Relies on limited experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks without immediate supervision. Must be highly motivated and possess a high degree of creativity. Must be team oriented, flexible, and focused on completing projects in a timely manner. Must be very organized and detail oriented and able to articulate technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing. Candidates should be able to work effectively with multiple constituencies. Experience working in a biomedical or academic environment is preferred. Additional related experience may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Managing, Senior Systems Architect, the Web Software Developer (WSD) is responsible for developing web based software solutions for use across various RWJMS entities. The Web Software Developer enhances exisitng and/or newly developed RWJMS web applications as identified by the Services Development and Deployment Group.
