Web Systems Architect

This team provides comprehensive infrastructure to the intranet, external web, portals, and other web application. The solution platform is based on IBM Websphere, Microsoft Windows .Net, and Cisco ACE load balancers. Activities include complete support for end users, application developers and system integrators. Duties and Accountabilities: Senior Architect will provide design, architecture and Level 4 support for Web Systems Administration for key eBusiness applications supported .Responsible for the following:Websphere suiteMicrosoft SharePoint Services.Web system integration servicesIplanet, JBoss, ColdFusion, Apache TomcatCisco ACE Load Balancer solutionWeb content management technical solutionWeb application firewall solutionWeb single sign-on of web system using CA Site Minder and Federated servicesManage the availability of web applications services using Oracle databases, MS SQL Server databases, load balancers, and EMC storageManage the setup of web systems services at Business Continuity Center.Evaluate and recommend system management and security related products Selection Criteria:

MA/MS in Computer Science, or Business Management of Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience. BS/BA is minimum education requirement
Minimum of 8 Years of Relevant Experience in managing web infrastructure system. Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in managing web infrastructure with BA/BS.

Experience in managing service delivery with key performance indicatorsIn depth understanding of Websphere suite of products operating in Unix, and/or Linux environmentGood understanding of social collaboration tools like Elgg and JiveManage Production systems for mission critical applications in complex environment. Strong knowledge of systems integration, and analytical skills to maintain complex web portals Experience with Perl and other Unix scripting languages.Good understanding of Oracle database system, Microsoft SQL Server, EMC storage infrastructure, network segmentation Superior communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written.
